CDA is a member of the Association Education Alliance (AEA), a group of leading wholesale-distributor trade associations. Through CDA’s membership in AEA, CDA members have access to a sales training opportunity offered three times in 2017. The Four Pillars of the Sales Profession is a 2 ½ day seminar focused on practical skills, tools and fundamental disciplines for sales professionals and productive sales teams including:

Pillar I - Personal Disciplines: Learn the 24 disciplines needed as a professional sales person to inspire personal change and improved time management.
Pillar II - Relationship Skills: Sharpen core communication skills and drive home the importance of active listening.
Pillar III - Strategic Selling: Gain a clear understanding of the range of responsibilities expected of sales professionals, including prospecting, account penetration, follow-up, service, CRM, territory management and strategic planning for key accounts.
Pillar IV - Tactical Selling: A full day, target account workshop where each person selects an actual customer and will pre-plan for the next call with that customer.
