CBD

CBD

CBD refers to Cannabidiol, a plant-derived compound from Cannabis sativa, a species of plant that includes both hemp and marijuana. Prior to the 2018 Farm Bill, any compound derived from the Cannabis sativa plant was considered to be marijuana and, therefore, illegal. Since the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, CBD products have proliferated throughout the country. As the CBD market changes constantly, CDA continues to provide information, education and research to members.
