Each year, CDA Distributor members and CDA staff meet virtually with federal officials in Washington, DC for our annual engagement event. For 2022, the advocacy program began with a virtual briefing and meeting preparation to review the issues, answer questions and support participants ahead of their Congressional meetings. Participants then met May 10 through May 19 and engaged in 68 engaging and productive meetings with legislators and staff.

The event culminated in a live online event the morning of May 24 to recap our meetings and enjoy a virtual coffee hour together, sponsored by Altria Group Distribution Company and Reynolds.
