Who should participate in the CDA Business Academy?

The program benefits emerging, rising leaders and middle managers. For the best results, we recommend that managers, supervisors, and high-potential employees participate together. This program is open to all CDA members and supports leadership development across the industry. Participants must be employed on an ongoing basis by a CDA member company in good standing.


How many people should join from my company?

The more, the better! This program acts as an organizational alignment tool, so involving more from your company ensures better implementation and outcomes.


When are the live sessions scheduled?

Within the program there will be live sessions held on Zoom to network and learn in real-time with your cohort. Live sessions take place every other Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET, beginning September 18 and ending December 4 (skipping Thanksgiving week). The session dates are Sept. 18, Oct. 2, Oct. 16, Oct. 30, Nov. 14, and Dec. 4.


What if I miss a live session?

All live sessions are recorded and available for review at any time. Even if you miss the live event, you can still benefit from the discussion.


What is included in the CDA Business Academy?

With over 20 hours of video, a private learning community, and an arsenal of templates, resources, and knowledge, this is one of the most comprehensive programs in the market. The program includes:

How much time will the program take?

Expect to dedicate between 2-3 hours per week, with live sessions lasting 60 minutes every other week. The total time commitment varies but typically ranges from 20 to 40 hours over the 10 weeks, depending on your current knowledge and professional goals.


Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the program?

Yes! Participants who complete the program will receive the CDA Business Academy Certificate of Completion, including a digital badge for LinkedIn and professional recognition.


Are there assignments and testing?

Yes, throughout the program, there are knowledge checks and a cumulative exam at the end. All assessments must be passed to receive your certificate.


How long will I have access to the program?

Participants will enjoy lifetime access to the eLearning content on the GoalMakers website, providing unlimited opportunities for review and application.
