FSMA Food Tracing Requirements: A Real-World Example

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm ET
Presenters: Andy Kennedy & Christine Gallagher, New Era Partners and iFoodDS

Join fellow CDA members on May 6 at 2:00 pm ET for an opportunity to explore a real-world example of how a distributor evaluated its state of readiness to comply with Section 204(d) of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

An “X-Ray,” or examination, of an actual distributor’s operations was conducted to determine what procedures and platforms are already in place to trace the regulated food products under Section 204(d) of FSMA and what gaps exist that need attention. This webinar will also assist distributors in understanding how food traceability requirements affect day-to-day warehouse operations from receiving to inventorying to shipping. In addition, food traceability expert Andy Kennedy of New Era Partners will also explore common challenges that distributors face and provide insights on how to plan to comply with the food tracing regulation.
