DHS and DOT Launch Interagency Effort to Crack Down on Fraud in Trucking Industry

On Aug. 31, 2026, U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Sean P. Duffy, joined by federal officials and Angel Families, announced an interagency effort to crack down on fraud and reduce highway fatalities in the trucking industry.
