CDA Webinar Recap: FSMA Food Tracing Requirements: A Real-World Example

This webinar explored a real-world example of how a distributor evaluated its state of readiness to comply with Section 204(d) of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

FSMA Webinar Image An “X-Ray,” or examination, of an actual distributor’s operations was conducted to determine what procedures and platforms are already in place to trace the regulated food products and what gaps exist that need attention. This webinar assisted distributors in understanding how food traceability requirements affect day-to-day warehouse operations from receiving to inventorying to shipping. In addition, food traceability expert Andy Kennedy of New Era Partners explored common challenges that distributors face and provide insights on how to plan to comply with the food tracing regulation.
