NRN Alert: Brookline, MA Advisory Committee Meeting (Age Restriction)
Today, Oct. 15, the Brookline Advisory Committee in Massachusetts will hold a meeting where Warrant Article 14 (WA14) is listed on the agenda for consideration. WA14 prohibits the sale of tobacco products and vapor products to anyone born after Jan. 1, 1976; prohibits the transfer of tobacco licenses to a new owner upon the sale of a business; and prohibits any establishment that sells tobacco products and electronic cigarette products from being greater than 2000 square feet. WA14 will also be considered in a Public Hearing by the Brookline Select Board on Oct. 20, 2020. A final vote is expected at the Town Meeting scheduled for Nov. 17, 2020.
