FTA to Broadcast Uniformity Session

The Uniformity Committee is excited to announce that on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 9:30am-Noon PST, the Technology Committee will be hosting a Technology Technical Session that will be available for webinar viewing. This is a Breakout Session taking place during our January Uniformity meeting and will be broadcast live for those that cannot make it to the meeting in San Antonio next month.

The target audience of this webinar are those people directly involved in technology and electronic reporting. The intent of this webinar is to update and discuss technical issues surrounding the uniform cigarette and tobacco XML schemas. We will be covering the following topics:

  • Schema Updates
  • Brand Code Table
  • Filing guide reorganization and suggestions
  • Discuss options to mapping data to Tax Returns or a Cover Sheet
  • Other filing options for the “Little Guy”
  • KY eFile status update
  • Specific issues that have come up in order to provide precedents for reporting going forward
