In-Person Event Replaced with Virtual Presentation by Charlie Cook
Wednesday, May 13, 1:00 PM ET

It is with great regret that, due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic, CDA is cancelling the 2020 Day on the Hill. Washington, D.C., and the surrounding areas are under mandatory stay-at-home orders, in some cases through June. CDA is disappointed that we will not be together as we planned in May, but we know that our actions now will help keep Americans safe and help get our economy back on track as soon as possible.

Nothing can replace being together in-person, but our featured speaker, renowned pollster Charlie Cook, will join us virtually via a webinar to discuss the current political landscape on Wednesday, May 13 at 1:00 PM ET. Register now! “There are political junkies, and then there’s Charlie Cook – the man who knows more about everything political than anyone else,” according to The Washingtonian. Al Hunt of The Wall Street Journal has referred to Cook as “the Picasso of election analysis.” In 2019, Cook was named co-author of the 2020 Edition of the Almanac of American Politics, adding to his omniscient powers.

Even though we won’t be walking the halls of Congress, our outreach will take place. CDA will contact each Member of Congress that we would have met with in-person reminding them of our issues and continuing to foster those relationships that are as important as ever.

Thank you again for your interest in CDA’s Government Affairs activity. We look forward to our virtual event in May, and we look forward to seeing you at future CDA events.
