Congress Extends Deadline for PPP Applications

Before leaving town for the Independence Day break, the House and Senate passed legislation extending the deadline for the Small Business Administration's (SBA) PPP applications from June 30 to August 8. The President signed the bill over the weekend. As of the June 30 expiration, there was around $130 billion left in the program. The SBA also announced the release of data on the 4.9 million loans made under the program thus far.
