New York City Cigarette Price Hike Goes Into Effect

The price of cigarettes in New York City has increased to $13/pack after a law passed last year has gone into effect. The new price was a central component of Mayor Bill de Blasio's tobacco legislation package, which was signed in August 2017. NBC New York.
