FDA Chief Calls for Steps to Stop Underage Vaping

Last week, at a meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Scott Gottlieb called on the industry to step up efforts to prevent underage children from using vapor products. This warning is the latest in a series of actions and announcements by the agency to crack down on companies that market vapor products to children. Over the past two months, the FDA has sent warnings to dozens of companies it alleges are marketing to children. CDA supports industry recommendations to prevent the sale of age-restricted products to minors.
