Weekly, I plan on providing resources that you can utilize to run your businesses and departments more efficiently. Most recently, our Education Committee met and came up with very intentional and strategic education programming for 2018, and we want to share our new “series” with you in this newsletter. For 2018, you’ll have the choice to attend a single webinar or to attend several in a “series” on a particular subject and earn a certificate of attendance. You will also have your name published in our weekly newsletter to all members. Our subject areas for 2018 include: Business/Best Practices, Women’s Leadership, Foodservice, Distribution, Operations and Peer-to-Peer Sharing. We will also have standalone webinars on important topics such as Tobacco and Food Safety throughout the year.

In our surveys, you let us know that networking and peer interactions are two of your most important takeaways from CDA. For Peer-to-Peer webinars, we are looking to feature you, our members, and have you showcase your challenges and/or successes to others in the industry. In this series, we want our members to take the reins and share your stories, so in that vein we will shortly be featuring a link on our website to capture your ideas.
