Priorities for 2018 Begin to Take Shape

Following a weekend spent at Camp David with Congressional leaders, President Trump and Congress are beginning to discuss priority agenda items for 2018. Addressing immigration, especially DACA, is paramount and will likely be the first significant policy item on Congress’ agenda this month. A federal spending bill is needed before the expiration of the last stopgap measure on Jan. 19. We can expect to hear more of the President’s policy wish list at the State of the Union address on Jan. 30.
