Senator Daines Introduces Main Street Tax Certainty Act

Last week, Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) introduced a bill to make the 20% pass-through business tax deduction (Section 199A) permanent. His bill, the Main Street Tax Certainty Act - S. 1706 - will support small businesses, help create jobs and strengthen the U.S. economy. Without congressional action, the tax deduction will expire at the end of 2025. CDA has signed onto a letter in support of the bill.
