Northeast Wholesalers Association Hosts Inaugural Meeting

The Northeast Wholesalers Association (NEWA) held its inaugural meeting last week virtually. Established to represent wholesale distributors in the northeast facing common challenges, the association encompasses Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

“The industry is changing in so many ways,” commented NEWA President and National Convenience Distributors (NCD) CEO Jeff Allen. “It is now more important than ever for all of us to come together in this industry effort and stand united on issues that mutually threaten our industry’s viability, profitability, and health.”

“Congratulations on the establishment of the NEWA," said Kimberly Bolin, CDA president and CEO. "CDA looks forward to working together to protect and promote the interests of our industry along with the strong contingent of very effective state and regional associations.“
