MA House Votes to Raise Tobacco Buying Age to 21 Statewide

The Massachusetts House of Representatives voted 147-4 in favor of H.4479, a bill that raises the tobacco-buying age to 21 statewide. The bill, which would take effect July 1, 2018, also imposes new regulations on e-cigarettes and prohibits the sale of tobacco in pharmacies. H. 4479 will now move on to the state Senate.
