Deja has always had a love of art and, in recent years, discovered a passion for coding. She has since been learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C++. She welcomes learning these languages to help strengthen her problem-solving abilities and build upon her current skillset. One of Deja’s teachers notes, “I believe that Deja is just what this nation needs in its up-and-coming student population. She is a bright young woman who is brilliant in the sciences and has prepared herself through rigorous science coursework and high-level mathematics, and she has excelled in these areas.”

Deja is pursuing her degree in electronic arts at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Isabella Alvarez is the daughter of Daniel Alvarez, quality assurance analyst, Core-Mark International, Canada Division.

Isabella is a second-year business student at Trinity Western University. She believes “if a passion for service is properly fostered, it leads to personal and communal success, and when that success is noted and invested in further, it leads to success for many others and creates a positive impact beyond what one could even fathom.” Isabella has participated in several volunteer extracurricular activities within her school, church, and city.

Isabella is studying business, human resource management and international business.

Noah Carpenter is the son of Chad Carpenter, driver at Farner-Bocken, a Division of Core-Mark, Carroll, IA.

Noah recently graduated high school in the top 10% of his class. He plans to get his nursing degree and then earn a degree in nursing anesthesia. He chose to pursue this career after undergoing surgery from a torn ACL. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, spikeball, and soccer. He also enjoys walking with his dogs as well as spending time with friends and family. One of Noah’s teachers stated, “His integrity and moral standards are two of his strongest assets.”

Noah is attending Missouri Southern State University in the fall.
