Oberlander to Depart Reynolds American

British American Tobacco (BAT) announced that Ricardo Oberlander will step down as president of Reynolds American, Inc. and from the management board on Aug. 31. Oberlander has been with BAT for nearly three decades, and is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, according to the company. Guy Meldrum, currently BAT’s Asia-Pacific and Middle East regional director, will succeed Oberlander as president of Reynolds American effective Sept. 1.
