CDA Reaches Out to Members of Congress on Ag Chain Act & Liability Protection

In lieu of the in-person meetings that would have taken place as part of CDA’s Day on the Hill event, CDA is contacting each Member of Congress to thank them for their support of the industry thus far and is asking for their support on CDA’s legislative priorities for the remainder of the session. Congressional staff are largely working from home, but they have been very responsive to CDA’s outreach. IN addition to liability protections, CDA is requesting that Members of Congress support the Ag Chain Act, which gives tax breaks to front line food and ag workers who are so tirelessly working to keep supply chains open for American consumers. CDA played a key role in assuring that the bill would cover convenience distribution employees (up to $75,000).
