2019 CDA Distributors Education Foundation (DEF) Ray Foley Memorial Scholarship Winners

Each year, four $5,000 college scholarships are available for CDA distributor member company employees and their immediate family members. The 2019 winners are:

  • Luke Hightower, the son of Sandy Zazulak, controller, Imperial Trading Co. in Elmwood, LA. Luke will be attending Louisiana State University in the fall, where he plans to study psychology.
  • Megan Langel, the daughter of Tammy Langel, staff accountant, Farner-Bocken, a division of Core-Mark, in Carroll, IA. Megan will be attending Iowa State University in the fall, where she plans to study business marketing.
  • Noah Shepard, the son of Ronnie Shepard, warehouse technology specialist, Stewart Distribution in Waycross, GA. Noah is currently attending the University of Georgia, where he is majoring in biological sciences with an emphasis in pre-dental.
  • Brenna Tinjum, the daughter of Mike Tinjum, sales development representative, Core-Mark, Minneapolis, MN. Brenna is currently attending the University of Minnesota, Morris, and majoring in elementary education.
