CDA Industry Affairs Committee Hosted by Altria
Altria Group Distribution Co. hosted a meeting with CDA’s Industry Affairs Committee last week at the company’s Richmond headquarters. Altria presented an overview of the company’s priorities for the future, including updates on its core combustible and non-combustible brands and plans going forward. Committee members were also able to discuss with the company key issues related to its wholesale programs for 2018. A highlight of the committee’s visit was a plant tour of the Phillip Morris Manufacturing Center in Richmond, the company’s two million square foot facility that currently produces 51% of all cigarettes sold in the United States.
